Giving

Through pledged contributions, plate offerings, and other sources, Westminster Presbyterian Church needs to raise about $6,000 per month to complete missions, maintain a parttime pastor and remain in our historic church home located at 501 5th ST NE.

Our missions include food and clothing drives for those in need in our community.  We also have a Prayer Shawl Crochet & Knitting Group that makes Prayer Shawls to give to anyone upon request. We support Bdecan Church in Tokio, ND with donations. Other projects include Valentines for seniors in nursing homes, Easter Blessing Baskets for the Devils Lake SAAF House (Safe Alternatives for Abused Families) which include baskets for the parent AND child(ren), providing support to refugees in need, participating in One Great Hour of  Sharing to aid with world hunger, disaster, development and edcuation to alleviate poverty, and injustice. Annually, we provide Thanksgiving food baskets to Dakota Prairie Community Action Agency. In the month of August we have a Back to School Clothing Drive and we have donated to the Devils Lake Police Department for an area safety prevention education program for adults and children.
